Rare opportunity to purchase this custom hand-shaped collectible balsa surfboard shaped by Hap Jacobs himself. Not only did Hap Jacobs oversee the glue-up process for this special balsa/redwood stringer blank, but he also shaped it himself using his favorite Skil 100 planer and his own two hands! Hap retired from surfboard shaping back in 2005 and prefers to spend most of his free time on his swordfishing boat, but Hap is a true craftsman who can only stay away from the shaping room for so long. The board features the Jacobs "signature" wood tail block and glass-on wood fin as well as Hap's personal signature.
